‘ If you would understand anything, observe its beginning and its development’ – Aristotle
I can see the wheel of excellence and continual progress that has been steered with values and conventions at ‘The City School International’ and it supports quality education, constant improvement in infrastructure, educational technology, teaching and learning processes as its spokes to fortify innumerable efforts to set the wheel on its track.
It is my privilege to write to you, and briefly introduce myself as the newly appointed Principal of The City School International Nadd Al Hamar in The City School Group.
I am incredibly excited to have joined the school and looking forward to creating positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community.
Over the next few weeks I trust that you will be patient and support me as I settle into the school. It is my intention to become fully familiar with the systems, processes, and procedures as quickly as possible; identifying the school’s current strengths and challenges; and focus on improving the quality of academic and pastoral education that The City School International provides for your child/ren. Above all, I will be investing time during the next few weeks arranging meetings for parents and with staff members, as well as getting to know the children and the staff so that I can best support the teaching and learning and the growth and development of the students in our care.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you, as parents, for your considerable support throughout the last term. It has been very nice to meet the Parent’s Council recently and some of the parents at the end of the last term. I believe your role as a parent is vital, as is the home-school partnership.
Finally, I would like to wish all of you a very happy, healthy and positive 2019. This is a year in which The City School International will move onwards and upwards and I trust that you will play a positive role in the journey ahead.
