Bidding Adieu to Our Year 11

The Class of 2018 was bid farewell on 19th of April,2018 by the Year 10’s at Pullman Hotel Dubai.
The air bore a testimony of accomplishment, pride and exuberance in the sparkling eyes of the outgoing batch from our school.
The farewell address by the principal Mr Craig Shipton, engraved in the hearts of the students of how much the school treasures the achievement and wellbeing of its students. Equally the valedictory speech by the headboy Ausaf Lodhi, and headgirl Shizah Kashif ran a shrill of appreciation amidst the audience.
The lights were then dimmed as candles were lit to conduct the ceremony of “Lighting of the Candle” which symbolizes that every outgoing batch is a lit candle who will shun the darkness of ignorance of the world. The venue scintillated with a golden glow on the faces of every person attending; an Instagram friendly pic . The graduating students then closed another chapter in their books by casting their hats. In the midst of the euphoric atmosphere, the retiring pupils were awarded personal titles while the 10th graders gave descriptions of each candidate making everyone feel special.
To showcase their charming outfits, the seniors were made to walk the runway and strike their best pose. After that, the host students acted out a scene from the 70’s sitcom ‘Mind Your Language’ which surely brought everyone to tears with its comical humour. To keep the laughter alight, games were played; they were undeniably amusing to watch.
Mohammad Fasih and Alisha Aleem bagged the title of Mr Eve and Ms Eve respectively, as they proved the perfect combo of “beauty with brain”.

As their final farewell, the students danced the night away.
