IGCSE Achievement Celebration

TCSI celebrated its Graduation day on Thursday, the 6th December 2018 at the beautiful terrace at the Sheraton Hotels, Sharjah. The celebrations commenced with the graceful entrance of the students with their parents in the form of an academic procession. The Principal, Mr. Craig Shipton, welcomed all the invitees, parents, faculty and graduands.

He declared the graduation day open, and in his address, he congratulated the graduands and pointed out that learning is a continuous process and success can be achieved only by the hard work and dedication of teachers in shaping the students as responsible citizens of the country. In Addition, he also mentioned that the education system should not be based on the marks scored by the students but it should be Innovation and employability as well as entrepreneurship.

Later, Ms. Saima Rauf announced the names and the certificates were distributed to all the successful students. This year’s results were exceptional as our student Shizah Kashif secured world distinction in Environment Management and was declared the UAE High Achiever in Islamic Studies. Besides this, the overall result was 91% A*-C (Far exceeds both the UK and UAE) and 49% A*-A (Far exceeds the UK and matches the UAE) which put TCSI among the top UK Curriculum schools in terms of High IGCSE score achievers in the UAE.

Parents expressed joyful gratitude to the faculty and the management for the brilliant academic achievement and in molding their wards into well rounded human beings in the course of study at TCSI.

The Principal then declared the graduation day closed. Senior Section Head Ms Farah Azeem delivered the vote of thanks and the function ended with a scrumptious dinner at the beautiful lawns of the Sheraton Hotels, Sharjah.
