On Wednesday, 14th February 2018, TCSI became a proud herald for yet another illustrious academic achievement by one of its many gifted students when Shizah Kashif, a graduating student of Year 11, was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner’s Award for her radiant results in the -May/June examinations in 2017.
The exclusive ceremony established itself at the Westin Beach Resorts in Mina Seyahi, Dubai Marina, and our winning student was accompanied by our school Director, Ms. Mathews and Senior Section Headmistress, Ms. Farah Azeem to receive the aforementioned award.
Cambridge’s annual Learner’s Award Ceremony is the centre of academic excellence reached by students who have topped their exams nationally and globally. It is an achievement that has no parallel and TCSI swells with pride as our student completes this milestone.
At the ceremony, schools from all over the UAE were present with their Outstanding Learners. The categories of the award were as follows: Top in Country, High Achievement, Top in World and Best Across in the UAE. A short musical performance by the choir from Gems Winchester was followed by the shield distribution and official certificate giving. The honours were done by the Director of Cambridge Assessment International Education in UAE, who showed his deep appreciation for the students’ hard work to have reached this award.
The award is truly an inspiration for all the students who will soon be appearing for their IGCSE examinations this year and the years to follow.
TCSI is immensely proud of its student, Shizah Kashif, and looks forward to a bright future of CAIE results that would bear even more distinctions and awards!
