I had the pleasure of attending TCSI from 2013 to 2018. During my time there, I was fortunate to receive a rigorous education in a supportive and challenging environment along with many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.

The exposure I gained at TCSI was immense as it equipped me with problem solving, critical thinking, and profound academic skills. Furthermore, the teachers at TCSI were some of the most dedicated and passionate educators I have ever had. Instructors like Ms. Sadia, Ms. Farah and Mr. Attique always made sure that the students were at ease during their time on campus by putting their utmost efforts to make TCSI a comfortable place for every student. The teachers at TCSI were always willing to go the extra mile to help their students succeed by making learning fun and interactive.

Lastly, I am extremely grateful for the skills and opportunities that TCSI has rewarded me with. It was a great place to learn and grow, and I made some lifelong friends there. TCSI will always be home for me and my batch!

 Leaving a school after 14 years is a big deal. I’ve had so many experiences and memories during that time. I made great friends and went through ups and downs together. The teachers and mentors helped me learn and grow, giving me knowledge and life lessons.

I’ll always remember the good times, the achievements, and even the tough moments that shaped me. They made me who I am today. Now, as I move on to the next phase of my life, I’ll carry those lessons with me.

I’m grateful for the time I spent at that school. It’s a special place that will always hold a special spot in my heart.  My time in TCSI was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. Starting right from year 6 all the way to year 11. This school has groomed me both professionally and personally. By giving a home-like environment and exceptional teachers who not only teach you but provide the right mentorship and support system a student needs. Personally, I remember many of my teachers always pushing me to do the best and never give up or settle for the bare minimum. Further, I would like to thank this school for making me the confident person I am today by giving me ample opportunities that allowed me to discover myself in diverse leadership and creative roles!

Currently, I just graduated from the university of Birmingham with a 1st Class Honors in BSc. Business Management. And I’m also looking forward to starting my Masters program of Marketing and Strategy from Warwick Business school. Overall, I’m passionate about marketing, communications, and consultancy. I believe this field is ever evolving which allows me to understand the vibrancy of the industry and pushes me to constantly innovate and discover newer ideas, solutions, and tools as I go along.

 TCSI plays a huge role in making me the person I am today. Academically, I was blessed with some of the best teachers – who always pushed me to perform my best and were there to support me when needed. In addition, I was fortunate enough to be the Deputy Head Girl and Head Girl during my final years at the school. These roles gave me a true sense of responsibility, and taught me to how to be proactive, resilient, and empathetic – all at the same time.

After graduating from school, I moved on to complete my bachelor’s in psychology with Management from Heriot-Watt University, and also had the chance to work with companies like Amazon and Schneider Electric. I’m now working in HR as part of the Daimler Truck group, and it’s been an amazing journey so far! Alongside, I’m also continuing to run modest fashion and early careers related pages on Instagram.

 As a proud alumnus of The City School International (TCSI), graduating in 2014 was a milestone that marked the beginning of my journey towards personal and academic growth. TCSI provided me with a nurturing environment that fostered intellectual curiosity and the pursuit of excellence.  The TCSI journey brought poetry — wherein the innate ebbs and flows of the experience allowed me to build my character and view of the world with a vast color palette; all while feeling loved, and my unique abilities appreciated.

Throughout my school journey, I have achieved notable academic milestones. I have consistently maintained well deserved grades across various subjects, demonstrating my commitment to learning and academic excellence. I have received recognition for outstanding performance in English, which has motivated me to continue striving for success.

Developing effective study habits and time management skills has been crucial to my success. I have refined my organizational strategies, implementing schedules and prioritizing tasks.

Looking ahead at my school journey has influenced my future aspirations significantly and has allowed me to explore my passion that is arts and music. I am now the co-founder and CEO of an event/performance venue named Act 3 Venue.

I vividly remember when I first explored my passion for the arts and music at the talent show back when I was in grade 4, which will be something I will always recollect for the rest of my life. I must say that I felt nothing but love and respect from everyone during my stay from grade 2 all the way to grade 11; and I would perhaps not be the person I am today if it wasn’t for TCSI.

The City School has been a life-changing experience for me. When I came into the school, the intention behind my entrance into this school was to leave it as soon as possible. However, as a result of my time there, I came to understand how good teachers should be. There was an exceptional level of talent among the teachers at City School. The attention and care of my teachers played a crucial role in shaping me as a person. An individual who is curious about learning new things. An individual who manages his studies efficiently and meets deadlines on a regular basis. I enjoyed going to school because of their attention and care for me. Priority was always given to my concerns in studies over anything else.

I felt like I belonged to a school for the first time ever. As they experienced joys and sorrows, I was there to share the experience with them.

In my life, City School will always be a turning point. The experience helped me accomplish many feats that I didn’t even realize I could accomplish.

The City School Management should be commended for always introducing us to both great teachers and lifelong mentors.
