Lina Omar has been in education for over 25 years. With a Bachelor of Education degree from Lebanese University and training in Curriculum development, she has worked in Primary and Early Years settings across Lebanon and the UAE.
Farah Azeem serves as the Head of Secondary, bringing with her more than 30 years of experience in the field of education. She holds a Masters in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Quaid e Azam University, Pakistan, and has been a valuable part of The City School International community since 2008.
Mr. Mudassir Saleem Sheikh brings over 20 years of experience in education, combining strategic leadership with a passion for excellence in teaching and learning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Master’s degrees in Computer Science as well as Economics and Finance. Since joining The City School International in 2013, he has been an integral part of the school community, contributing significantly to its academic growth and development. A strong advocate of lifelong learning, he is dedicated to fostering a growth mindset among students and staff, inspiring them to think critically, embrace challenges, and achieve excellence in all they do. He has been at the forefront of curriculum development, data-informed teaching, and the use of technology to enhance learning outcomes. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement, ensuring that both students and teachers are empowered to reach their full potential.
Ms. Maryam holds a Master’s degree in Interior Designing and has always been passionate about teaching. She has been a dedicated member of TCSI since 2006, beginning her journey as an Art teacher. As the KS1 Head, Ms. Maryam firmly believes in effective team management and collaboration to enhance students’ learning and creativity through the use of 21st-century teaching skills.
Ms. Heena Shaikh is a passionate and dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in early childhood education. She brings extensive expertise in nurturing young children, guiding them through their formative learning years, and supporting their holistic development.. Ms. Heena is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education, focusing on child-centered learning, positive behaviour management, and strong parent partnerships. She feels privileged to be part of TCSI and contributes to the school’s vision of excellence and innovation. As a senior leader, she takes pride in supporting teachers, developing effective teaching practices, and creating an inspiring environment where children feel safe, happy, and confident. Her goal is to empower every child to reach their full potential and build a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
Ms. Saba Shoukat Mazhar serves as the Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing at TCSI. She is deeply passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students, staff, and parents. With a strong background in special education, extensive experience working with students with special needs for over seven years, and expertise in mental health counselling, she actively promotes wellbeing and holistic development across the school community.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Houston, Texas, a master’s degree in Applied Psychology, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education from Malaysia. She also holds a certification in Integrative Counseling and Psychotherapy from London.
